Learning Express Library Import / Export

 

 

1. Go to:  http://learningexpress.booksys.com and follow directions.

2. Follow on-screen prompts to save the file. Save file into OCLC Export folder as learning.dat.

3. Open the MarcImport wizard.

4. Under the Import tab, select File Type: MARC.

5.  In the “Source” field, use the gadget to locate learning.dat in OCLC Export.

6. Call the Destination file learning.marc

7. Click Import.

8. When asked if the diskette is ready, answer Yes.

9.  When asked if there are more files to download, answer No.  A word processing program on your PC will open with a report.

10. Duplicate & run the report Bibloadlearningexpress (located the the New reports / Templates list). NOTE: This report uses the Item Cat1 LEARNINGEX;  Holding Code LEARNINGEX ; and Classification LEARNINGEX.
