Emailing a screen from Workflows

 

You can capture a “screen shot” from Workflows (or most any other program) and email it to someone so they can see what you see.

 

To do this, have the screen you want to capture up on your screen.  Then hold down the “Alt” key and press the “Print Screen” key.  This should capture your screen in the “clipboard”.

 

 

Once you’ve captured your screen, “Paste” the screen into your email message in Outlook.

 

It should look something like this:

 

 

You can then add any comments you need and send the message to TS or whomever you would like to see it.


Another alternative (for if you use the web version of Outlook):

 

Make sure your Workflows “Print Setup” is set to “Launch Application”, and select the appropriate application (Word, Wordpad etc.):

 

 

 

Then when you see a screen you want to capture and send, just click the print button in Workflows and a Window of the program you selected will pop up with the screen data (in text format):

 

Then you can copy the data from the screen and email it to TS or whomever you would like to see it, with any comments you want to include:
