Overdrive eAudioBooks Import

 

 

1. Records will arrive as an email attachment.

2. Save file into OCLC Export folder as OVERDmmddyy.mrc (e.g.; OVERD122007.mrc).

3. Open the MarcImport wizard.

4. Under the Import tab, select File Type: MARC.

5.  In the “Source” field, use the gadget to locate the file in OCLC Export.

6. Call the Destination file OVERDRIVE.

7. Click Import.

8. When asked if the diskette is ready, answer Yes.

9.  When asked if there are more files to download, answer No.  A word processing program on your PC will open with a report.

10.Invoke the Schedule New Reports wizard and open Bibload OVERDRIVE (in the Templates tab) to Run Now.

 

11.Select Run Now to run the report immediately.

 

12. When the report finishes running, go into the Finished Reports wizard and check the report log. Make sure all records loaded properly.
